This project aims to support the Press Council in the process of institutional strengthening and development of this structure by adapting/modifying procedures and current working practices. Such actions will contribute to increasing the impact of journalistic self-regulation and the commitment of journalists and newsrooms to the ethical values of the journalistic profession.

Objective: Support for the Press Council in the process of institutional strengthening and development through the adaptation/modification of current working procedures and practices. These actions will contribute to increasing the impact of journalistic self-regulation and strengthening the commitment of journalists and media outlets to the ethical values of the profession.

Activity 1. Ensure the Press Council's institutional transparency.

Activity 2. Increasing the role of the Press Council in the context of new legal regulations.

Activity 3. Organization and conduct of Press Council meetings.

Activity 4. Organize and conduct the public competition for selecting the new composition of the Board of Experts.

Activity 5. Study visit for members of the Board of Experts and international representation activities.

Activity 6. Organization and holding of the 2025 Moldova Media Forum.

Activity 7. Re-editing the Style Guide with Ethical Norms for Journalists and the Press Council leaflet.
