OBIECTIV supplement..
Since 2004, API has been publishing the publication OBIECTIV, distributed as supplement to national and local API-member newspapers and issued in Romanian and Russian languages, with an overall circulation of over 80-100 thousand copies. The basic topic of the supplement is the civic and electoral education, including the coverage of activities of the Coalition for Free and Fair Elections (see www.alegeliber.md). Between elections, OBIECTIV supplement has been reporting on other important social activities, such as fighting corruption, diminishing the torture phenomenon and other inhuman, cruel and degrading forms of treatment, development projects in Eastern districts of Republic of Moldova.  more 

Civic education page „ACTIV”..
Beginning with December 2009, API has been publishing a civic education page in Romanian and Russian languages, which appears in 14 API-member newspapers.  more 

Railway of Moldova forced to ensure access to information..
Downtown Court of Justice from Chisinau municipality obliged the State Enterprise „Railway of Moldova” (CFM) to furnish information on the construction of Cahul-Giurgiuleşti railroad sector to the Association of Independent Press (API).

In July 2009, API addressed Moldova Railway General Director, Miron Găgăuz, with the request to provide data on the investments made by CFM in the construction of Cahul-Giurgiuleşti railroad sector, on companies contracted by CFM for such works and other related information.  more 


Chairwoman of R. Moldova’s Press Council..
Ludmila Andronic, editor-in-chief of „Business class” magazine, was appointed as Chairwoman of Press Council from Republic of Moldova during the first sitting of the Council dated with Friday, January 22nd, 2010.  more
