Throughout the year 2007, the Association of Independent Press organizes national competitions of articles in which journalists from national and local mass-media as well as newspapers can take part. The authors of the best articles shall be awarded by API and its partners. more

During the period July 21 – 29 this year, a group of eight journalists, members of “European Reporter” network, are undertaking a documentation trip to Poland. more

A journalist – citizen of honor of Selemet village..
Ion Ciumeică, editor-in-chief at „Business info” newspaper from Cimislia and President of the Regional Cultural Foundation „Mihai Eminescu” (see picture) became a citizen of honor of Selemet village from Cimislia district. The title was attributed to him by Selemet Village Council „for special excellence in the development of culture and national art”. more
Russian-language regional newspaper „SP” launched its Romanian version..
The first Romanian version of the Russian-language newspaper “SP” was launched in Baltsi. The launching of the Romanian supplement on the media market from the northern region of Moldova was possible due to the partial financial assistance provided by Soros-Moldova Foundation. more
