API granted its annual awards
On February 5 this year, API nominated the winners of its annual Contests (2009) for journalists. The contest was on its nineth consecutive edition, standing for a domestic competition of newspapers under the Association of Independent Press. The jury appointed the winners for the seven categories. The awards for the category „The best journalist” went to Tatiana Eţco and Victor Moşneag, both from „Ziarul de Gardă” investigation newspaper; „The best journalistic investigation”, in API jury’s opinion, was performed by Mariana Raţă from „Jurnal de Chişinău”; Nicolae Sanduleac from „Unghiul” newspaper from Ungheni was nominated as „The best manager”, whereas Andrei Suzanscki from Baltsi „SP” publication shot „The best photograph of the year”.
